Thought I’d let you know what I’ve been up to.. A bit overload on the links, but it's honestly bizarre, the amount of relationships and opportunities. I wonder at the connections, relationships and diverse opportunities that our whole team has had. It feels like God is creating the puzzle pieces, but has not yet shown us the whole picture of why we are here. It been a hard at times, yet fantastic journey so far.
Here’s the BOB Newsletter for the non profit I work at. There is a short exert about moi, as well as a success story about one of the guys I work with, Roderick, and details on the Community Benefit Agreement which is the project I’m working on at the moment. Woot, woot! Enjoy..

Also, a video about the organization was made and I got to feature the program I do.

With the downturn in the economy, a lot of individuals that I helped put into jobs, lost their jobs. So my dream project was to get individuals from the inner city to help with the renovations of delapitated buildings on the downtown eastside. It's happening! We have a crew of 8 people working for 3 weeks getting paid and learning skills! And Global TV, doing a story about the situation down here, met with some of our guys. The portion about a building becoming an art studio is my project!
Scroll to the video Beacons of Hope. Our project is featured at 1:24-1:52.

Also, I volunteer (and recently asked to sit on the board) for Working Gear. A super awesome non-profit of all volunteers helping down and out people to get the clothes they need to get a job. Basically, we dress up, boost the confidence and give a bunch of sweet clothes for free to men who are trying to change their lives on the downtown east side.

AND.. CBC did a segment on them and you may catch a few glimpses of me!
In the box 'Search LIVING Videos' type Working Gear at this site:

On a lighter note, I recently joined a group of coolio peeps in trying out Salsa dancing!! So fun.. Also, Tracer introduced me to one of her photographer friends, Jeanie. While Jeanie is hanging out in India, I'm house sitting for her in Gastown. Such a great opportunity! It's a half a block from my work, which is a big blessing. And I must say that this past weekend, being at Erin's wedding was amazing! OH MY GOODNESS. I'm so happy for Pete and Erin, and it was so good for my heart to be with so many people that I love and miss.
I think that's all.. Sorry if it's a bit overloaded on the links :).
Have a beautiful evening everyone!
