Some freaking amazing reading

Hey guys, here's some articles that are great.

Brutal article by Gordan MacDonald called 'Real Christian Behavior'
Who is God using, Christians with the right theology, or Oprah who opens a school for girls in poverty? And BRUTALLY great illustration at the end.

A New Science of Faith; Busting the Secularization Myth- By Asst. Prof. Ara Norenzayan from UBC. A very cool article on how the idea that secularization is better- and faith, religion and spirituality need to be taken out of our culture isn't necessarily true.

As I read these articles I began to think about what we are going to be doing in Burnaby. Do we want to be known as Christians by what we believe or by what we do? I know that we've talked about it lots... But I know I struggle with what I've been taught- especially through experience, and what we will do and more importantly who we will be in reaching people for Jesus in Burnaby. In many ways it's a relief- what my heart longs to do, in others it's such a foreign world to my experience.

Enjoying the struggle,

Lani
